We did the Kaena Point hike.  Despite having been on the island so many times, it was my first time at the point.

Immediately to the right of Jaime's shoulder is an endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal.  We saw three.

The hike took about 3.5 hours and was about 7 miles round trip.

The hike also took us through an albatross breeding ground.  We saw a number of nests.

Rugged.

Kaena Point is the only coastal part of the island entirely inaccessible by road.
