Todd had some old lawn darts and that game occupied much of our day Sunday. Omare was dominant for a while...until he got taken down by Jaime.

Jaime's cooking has been well documented here and, by now, speaks for itself. Nelle is also an excellent cook, so we ate inconceivably well all weekend. Our menu included, in order, Greek salad and Za'atar chicken, lobster rolls on buns from Columbia City Bakery, eggs/sausage/potatoes, grill pizza with Salumi pepperoni, pulled pork sandwiches (roasted in Dr. Pepper and various savory goodness for 48+ hours) and the obligatory s'mores at the camp fire.

This weekend Todd invited us and one other couple, Omare and Kasha, to his cabin near Allyn, in the South Sound. The weather was perfect for a 4th of July weekend. We ate, drank and played games all day for two days. Saturday afternoon another couple picked us up in their boat and we got a chance to float and swim around Harstine Island. Life was sweet.
