Just checking in to let those who have an interest in my survival know that we have arrived safe at our Bangalore accommodations. It was a remarkably easy trip for 22 hours of traveling. We both slept at least three hours on each leg of our itinerary. On our leg from London to Bangalore we each commandeered a whole row of four seats and so were able to lay down. Pretty good arrangement, except each time I woke up a different part of my torso was sore and a different extremity was numb.
We arrived to mostly clear skies and a nice sunrise in Bangalore. We both feel surprisingly rested. Our plans for today are tentatively to eat dosas and then Jaime wants to go get fitted to have a sari made for herself. We hang around here until Saturday morning, when we leave for Jaipur.
