"Our modern term 'charm' comes from the Latin for song, ...carmen, which was taken in turn from the Greek charma meaning 'source of joy'... But it was also from this word that the Greeks derived the word charme. In modern English charme best translates as 'combat'. All of which makes one wonder...if Shakespeare was aware of this when he had Macbeth, shortly before he is killed by Macduff, coin the term 'charmed life.'" - Nic Kelman, Girls: A Paean

Where WERE you??? Took me more than three glances at the pic to even realize it is you two! And in re the latest twitter feed: sadly it takes more than a year-round flip-flop tan to make a girl sexy, as I have that now. Maybe it's that I'm no longer a girl. Oh well.
We gave Pioneer Square a second viewing yesterday and Jaime had a weird impulse to do the least-Jaime-and-Ryan-like thing possible (viz. old timey photos).
ha! I love Jaime, and this made me love her more.
I sooo want a copy of this photo
and it is definitely a stokes calendar addition. But beyond that please send me a copy!
We totally thought about doing that while driving in Wyoming for some odd reason. Then, we decided it was almost 100 degrees and that would be too hot! Glad you went out in a limb. Aidan and Gwyn immediately knew it was you so maybe in it not too far off base for you guys.
